Pros: Food was excellent tasting. Saki was good. Our two sons new to sushi (12 & 9) loved the shrimp fried rice and California rolls. We ended up ordering two because they powered through the first big bowl. Pike Place roll and Spicy Tuna rolls were delicious. The atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing for our family. We were visiting from Indiana and met a long time friend living in Seattle. It was a great place to meet up.
Cons: Our sushi rolls were not cut into consistent sizes making some of them pretty hard to eat like normal. Our server was very nice but not very attentive. We had to ask three times for refills on water. They were not very busy. -

Authentic, crazy fresh and incredibly tasty sushi.
I was really impressed.
Ambiance is really basic. Kinda tossed together but besides that , the food was really damn good. I had a spicy tuna roll and my friends had the Hana house roll which I was so envious of. Beer and lots of shrimp salad an noodle dishes. I sampled it all and was in heaven . Definitely going back. I love the staff, so nice and attentive. -

Great sushi for great value! Service was friendly and their curry katsu was one of the best I've had in Seattle!

With the over abundance of sushi places in this city, its hard to find a good one I like outside of my usual tested tried and true places, and I find myself going to the same places always. Today I was introduced to Hana. A cute little hole in the wall in Capital Hill. I was immediately in love with this place by the cordial and friendly greeting from everyone who worked there. We sat at the sushi bar and were also treated very well. I was impressed with how friendly and wonderful the entire staff there was. They actually seemed, happy? It was great. I ordered some nigiri and the Samurai roll. They have Tamari as well ( I have a gluten allergy) and I loved that roll! Picture below. Food was great, price is right, and the service really cant be beat. I will def be back next time Im on the hill. Thanks Hana!

Their Cherry Blossom Roll is so cool. The chef is artsy!!! It is in the Special Sushi Rolls Menu. The Cherry Blossom Roll is made with tempura shrimp, cucumber, and cream cheese. It's topped off with tuna, spicy mayo, eel sauce, and tons of tiny scallops. To be honest, I think it will taste better if it's not spicy but I still enjoy it! It's fresh and yummy. I also like their Donburi. I ordered the Kateu Don, the price is very reasonable!
